Can I rent a dress if I am under 18? If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian to rent items on your behalf, and all liability for damage or late return will be accepted by them. How long can I hire a dress for? Updated over 2 months ago. Available rental periods for items, including Australian made dresses, are set at the discretion of the item’s owner, but they typically include 4 days (standard hire), 8 days (extended hire), or 30 days (long-term hire). In some cases, the owner may also offer the option to purchase the item outright. We recommend that for a standard 4-day hire, your event is scheduled for the third day to reduce the risk of late delivery. For extended hires, it’s best to have items like evening gowns arrive at least two days before your occasion. Who is responsible for Dry Cleaning after a booking has been completed? Updated over 3 months ago. It is the Lender's responsibility to dry clean each item, including wedding attire, before sending it to the Borrower. Items must be sent in a clean and odour-free state. Borrowers are not required to dry clean items before returning them to the Lender, but they are required to not cause undue wear upon the item during the time of their booking. Please take all steps to keep the item in good condition and to wear it in a hygienic manner.
